How crazy is this? U.S. Must Provide Mental Health Services to Families Separated at Border

We have criminals coming here by the millions and now we need to see to their every whim. So says Judge John A. Kronstadt.

Judge John A. Kronstadt of the United States District Court in Los Angeles ordered the federal government to immediately make available mental health screenings and treatment to thousands of families forcibly separated under the policy, which was primarily carried out in 2017 and 2018 — though hundreds of similar separations still occur.

I wonder why this was never brought up when past administrations did the same thing. Let us not forget that the so called parents took these children from their homes to a strange country where they do not speak the same language. If you ask me, the parents are the criminals here. In closing the government had this to say.

Government lawyers had argued that it could not be held liable for mental health problems that might occur in the future, and that there had been no proof of existing irreparable harm to any of those subjected to the policy.

We can only hope that this will be appealed. What say you?
