On Sunday, President Donald Trump called out ABC News for covering up accusations made against pedophile Jeffrey Epstein along with other prominent Democrats.
“ABC is as bad as the rest of them,” President Trump wrote on Twitter. “Journalistic standards are nonexistent today. The press is so dishonest that we no longer have Freedom of the Press!”
The President linked to a clip provided by James O’Keefe of Project Veritas of Fox News host Jesse Watters slamming ABC News, asking “What the hell are ABC’s editorial standards?”
On Tuesday morning, Project Veritas released a bombshell video recording of ABC News anchor Amy Robach explaining how a witness relating to Jeffrey Epstein came forward years ago with information, however, ABC News quickly shot it down and refused to air the material.
“I’ve Had This Story for Three Years… (ABC) Would Not Put It on The Air”…“It Was Unbelievable… We Had – Clinton, We Had Everything…” Robach said in the leaked footage.
During another point in the leaked footage, the ABC anchor says the victim had large amounts of evidence against Epstein, however, ABC killed the story; “She Had Pictures, She Had Everything. She Was in Hiding for Twelve Years. We Convinced Her to Come Out. We Convinced Her to Talk to Us.”

The bombshell drop by Project Veritas went so viral that it even caught the attention of ABC News who quickly released a statement.
“At the time, not all of our reporting met our standards to air, but we have never stopped investigating the story. Ever since we’ve had a team on this investigation and substantial resources dedicated to it. That work has led to a two-hour documentary and a 6-part podcast that will air in the new year.” ABC News said in their statement.
Amy Robach also released a statement:
“As a journalist, as the Epstein story continued to unfold last summer, I was caught in a private moment of frustration. I was upset that an important interview I had conducted with Virginia Roberts didn’t air because we could not obtain sufficient corroborating evidence to meet ABC’s editorial standards about her allegations. My comments about Prince Andrew and her allegations that she had seen Bill Clinton on Epstein’s private island were in reference to what Virginia Roberts said in that interview in 2015. I was referencing her allegations – not what ABC News had verified through our reporting. The interview itself, while I was disappointed it didn’t air, didn’t meet our standards. In the years since no one ever told me or the team to stop reporting on Jeffrey Epstein, and we have continued to aggressively pursue this important story.”
